Sautéed Garlic Sesame Green Beans, Squash and Zucchini

 

Sautéed Garlic Sesame Vegetables
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 pound green beans (ends trimmed)
  • 1 squash, cubed
  • 1 zucchini, cubed
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 garlic gloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Freshly ground pepper & sea salt, to taste
Instructions
  1. Fill a medium size saucepan about ¾ full of water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add green beans and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, fill a large bowl with ice water.
  4. Remove the green beans from the pot and immediately place in ice water. Set aside.
  5. In a saute pan, heat sesame oil over medium high heat.
  6. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Add green beans and coat in the oil and garlic.
  8. Cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Add zucchini, squash, sesame seeds, salt and pepper.
  10. Stir to combine and cook until desired tenderness, about 5 minutes.
