Caring For Laminate Floors
I love my laminate floor. It is so easy to care for.
- Use a dust mop across the surface of the floor every few days to remove everyday dirt. I bought a very wide one from Home Depot that works great.
- Use a cloth or sponge to immediately clean up any liquid spills.
Both these ways work well! Just be sure to not put too much dampness on the flooring.
#1. Pour ¼ cup white vinegar into a 30 to 32 oz spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with plain water and shake well to combine. Spray the vinegar onto the floor in areas no larger than small 1-foot squares. Wipe the solution up with a damp mop or cloth.
#2. Fill a bucket with hot water. Add 2 Tbsp of baby shampoo. Wring out the mop until it is only MILDLY moist rather than soggy. Wipe the floor from one side to the other.
